Hello,

I'm searching and it's surely at the end of my nose but I don't find where is the setting to allowed non-connected people to send an email to a user by his profile.
Code:
/index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=emailUser&uid=5482&Itemid=483
I'm sure it's an easy answer for some of you so if you can help a new Alzheimer member it will be cool :)

Thx by advance for answers

If by non-connected you mean not logged in, then there is no such feature built-in CB.

The reason is that you would basically be opening your website to spammers interested in sending messages to your members.

You can if you want display your users email address publicly if you want, but that would be just as bad, right?

There is a plugin - i think it's called Public emails - that does this.
Not sure where it is but it has been referenced on these forums.

You're right, I was meaning not logged in. This site is a coach website and they are interest by having mail contact from the site, that's the reason why the form was a good thing. I understand your alert for spammers but if a captcha could be added to the form many of these spam problem will disapear, won't they ?

Yes it's the "not so worse solution" I choose. But it means that non logged in users will have to copy the email adress form their browser and then paste it in their emailer.. Not really user friendly. But it works...

I will search for that. The other solution is to set a Private Messagerie as UDDEIM, so it will stay in a CB configuration
