"Fields validation in Admin" not working

Subscriptions are handled through CB Subs.

I have Company subscriptions and Individual subscriptions. The "First Name" and "Last Name" fields are required for Individuals, but not for Companies.

"Fields Validation in Admin" is set to No, but I am still asked to put in a value when trying to edit a company from the backend.

I should be able to edit the company profile, without being asked to fill in the "First Name" and "Last Name" fields.

I have searched all the forums and the solution is to turn the "Fields validation in Admin" to No, but this is not working for me. This is found in Community Builder / Configuration / User Profile.

Does anyone know what I can do so that the fields are not validated/required when editing and saving in the backend?

First Name, Last Name, Username, and Email must be populated. Disabling admin validation will not allow you to skip these as they are core Joomla fields. You'll need to input something to them.
