CB Connect supports HTTP and HTTPS of all the social sites it allows. It's always good to use HTTPS, but you don't have to. IE9 is garbage and complains about a lot of things and as they're just warnings they're safe to ignore; at any rate it's external API loaded in from Google and nothing I can do in regards to the warnings.
