[SOLVED] Fetch Field and Update

[SOLVED] Fetch Field and Update was created by edmundcheong
Dear Support,

I am trying to build a support system, where the moderators could insert his (moderator) value into another user's profile field.

Basically, I would like to have a function when a moderator or an administrator visits another user profile, he views it, and when he clicks a get button (in the image the button is "update"), the moderator fields get updated in the field.

The field should not be editable (similar to delimiter) but this time, some of the moderator's information is updated in the other user's field.

Attached is a before (before.jpg) the moderator clicks update and what happens after he clicks updates (after.jpg).

Is that possible? For you info, I am also using community builder profile pro.

The moderator sees the users profile.

When he clicks update, the moderators information is updated into that profile

You'd need to develop a new CB plugin (probably fieldtype plugin is best, see password fields for multiple inputs for 1 field) if you want to have the Update button feature. Otherwise you could just use CB Privacy to set some fields only editable by moderators and they'd have to manually input the information. Alternatively you could use CB Auto Actions combined with CB Privacy and have CB Auto Actions add jQuery to the profile edit page that adds an Update button to DOM and when pressed adds that information.
