CB on multiple Joomla site

Hello,

I have CB running on my site, however i want to setup a few more joomla site on my subdomains and i like them all to be linked to the CB i have installed on my first joomla site. So that all users on the site will also be able to authenticate and any user created on the new subdomain sites will created on the main joomla installation. Is there any extension that i can use for this? or i there a workaround?

CB has no multi-site support. I suppose you could try using CB Auto Actions with a Query action set to External mode to insert/update database rows on your other sites, but adding users via database isn't easy as you'll need to review usergroup assignment, insert to joomla, and insert to CB. Then what happens if they update their profile on the other site, should it synchronize back to the main site? Lots to consider. I know JED has some multi-site extensions, but I've no idea if they work with CB.

Yes i did want the users at the sub to sync back to the main if they update their profile.

In that case all sub sites and your main site would need CB Auto Actions and you'd have to create a massive amount of external query actions to synchronize with all the databases. Ideally this should be a custom developed plugin to meet your needs. Again though there are multi-site Joomla extensions, but they probably won't work with CB data; it would at least allow them to login to the other sites with their existing account though.
