Select Subscription Plan not populated, site migration

12 years 2 months ago #214208 by richbrundage
Hello,

I am migrating a 1.5 site to a 2.5 site, after importing the CB subs and comprofiler database tables into the new site along with the user tables via J2XML importer the Select Subscription Plan dropdown menu in the CB User Manager has no entries, but in CB Subs there are entries in the Plans and Subscriptions areas.

Thanks for your help.

Ensure all your plans have an Alias configured, this wasn't required in older versions of CBSubs but with CBSubs 2.0 you should be forced to input one.

Does "ANY PLAN ACTIVE" and "NO PLAN ACTIVE" at least show in the dropdown? Ensure your plans are published within CBSubs.

No, "ANY PLAN ACTIVE" and "NO PLAN ACTIVE" did not appear, the dropdown had no items at all. But your inquiry about whether any plans were published got me looking at the plans page in CB Subs and while there were several published plans the User Group for viewing was not defined - once I fixed that for one of the plans the "ANY PLAN ACTIVE" and "NO PLAN ACTIVE" as well as the fixed plan all showed up.

Seems an issue with changes in user groups from 1.5 to 2.5, in the 1.5 site User Group appears to be optional while it must be required in 2.5. Access group was set to Registered in the 1.5 site but is not set in the 2.5 site... does not seemed to be required now...

The access usergroup should be at minimum set to public. When migrating you'll have to manually adjust a lot of usergroups and view access levels as the ids between J1.5 and J2.5 are not the same. I suggest checking outside of CBSubs as well to avoid any further issues elsewhere (for example you need to likely fix all your userlists).
