Is there now a way to have a search field that can be set to search in for example 3 input fields?

Is it possible, or is there a component/plugin or something else?

Somewhat, you can use our CB Search Bot that allows searching CB users using Joomla search (not smart search!) and you can select as many fields as you want the search value to check against (the fields should be publicly visible and searchable).
