Plugin version overview? was created by fribse2011
Is there any way I can get a version overview of the CB plugins installed? It is much needed to make sure that everything is updated, and especially when the joomla update system is not used.
Some of the plugins doesn't even show version when opened, so for those there's not much use for versions on the download page.

Best regards

A 'minor' change (at least minor to other changes) would be to have the version shown in the plugin list, after 'directory'. That would help a lot.

Individual plugins don't actually have version numbers (at least not XML wise). The version in their XML file is what CB version they apply to. Many of my plugins I've added a custom XML attribute to version them and output in their backends; others we've simply added the version to the description. Which in particular are not showing a version? As we try to ensure they all have a internal version number somewhere. I agree, we should update the plugin list to display versions (also need to have a standard XML attribute for it).
