Auto Action and afteruserlogout

hello

I would like perform a redirect to registration page when users logout AND display a message who contain substitution data related to the account such for example:

Good bye [username] you are now disconnected.

I tested but even if the redirect work, no message are displayed (with or without substitution). I presume is because the trigger "afteruserlogout" do not handle message display ??

I tested with "afteruserlogin" and this work well.

Any clue ?

Don't understand the issue, you say it's not working but at the bottom of your post you say it is working. Please explain what the problem is and attach a screenshot of your auto action.

It work with "onAfterLogin" but not with "onAfterLogout".

In both case the redirect work but is only with "onAfterLogout" where the message is not displayed.

Messages are stored in Joomla session. When the user logs out that session clears so there's nothing to display. Maybe redirect to a Joomla article instead.
