We have Joomla 2.5.6 installed, with CB 1.9, and GroupJive 2.5.3.
In GroupJive > Configuration > Notifications > Global, the conf is as following:
Notifications: Enable
Notify By: PMS & Email
The group owner receives the e-mail, but it is not stored in uddeIM (not in inbox). And by changing config to PMS only, there is no notification received at all...
You need to have CB > Plugin Management > Private Message System configured, public, and published for UddeIM. This allows CB to utilize its API to handle sending of private messages.
