Hello

Using jch optimize with CB 1,9 and bootstrap 2,0 fails on IE 9

I have to manually exclude template.css from jch optimize in order to have the page not broken on IE 9

I thought you may have an idea of the problem or this may help you in the future

:-)

In fact I have narrowed down the problem to Groupjive 2.6.0 RC1 template.css file from default template

There is a problem with IE and this file when jchoptimize is used

Unpublishing the plugin solved the problem with IE9 and jchoptimize.

Groupjive 2.6.0 RC1 works well on all other browsers as usual :-)

if you need to test just let me know, I would like to re publish it again

We don't support dynamic compression, it always causes problems. If you need them smaller then use a minimizer on them and save them as minimized, but you're talking about saving maybe 2-3kb. Below is the minimizer I use.

Kyle

You were the one who advised me to use jch optimize to avoid the problem with css limits on IE 9 :-)

So either there is a way to decrease the number of css stylesheets in CB and CB plugins or I have to rely on jch optimize.

Have your compression ignore the files causing issues and it should be ok. You don't need to compress every CSS file, but only enough to keep the limit down. Luckily this limit is going away with IE 10.
