Hi,
I'm french and not a pro.and i have 2 problems :

1/ I cannot upload an image in a user profile from the admin interface since yesterday.(it is possible from th frontend)
I get an answer : Photo : your file overcomes the maximum capacity of xxxx Ko.
Though, the image file is less than xxxx Ko
Anyone knows why ?
I have no problem uploading an image within the media manager

2/I installed the mod_cbOnline but it does not appear on the modules manager
Any reason ?

Can somebody help ?

Thanks very much

Joomla version? CB version?

2/I installed the mod_cbOnline but it does not appear on the modules manager. Any reason ?

Click "New" and add a new module of the type "CB Online".

Hello Krileon,
Thanks you very much for your help.
I added a new module with cb_online and it worked !
Perfect
Now, I still have that problem with the photos uploading bug (/1 mentionned)
Do you know what may happen ?

If no, reinstalling the entire component and modules will it be useful ?
And SAFE for the site and the database ? Will it affect all the registrations ?

Many thanks

Rgds

It sounds like the image is simply too large. Enable debug mode and maximum error reporting in Joomla global configuration then attempt to upload again and see if there are any fatal errors as maybe the size calculation is failing somehow. Please provide Joomla version and CB version.

Hi Krileon,

Joomla 2.5.8
CB 1.9

I did what you recommand ( enabled debug mode and error reporting)
But I'm not able to read where an error occured.

Anyway, I tried to uplaod a new image far less lower than the allowed Ko configured, NO WAY !
May be the sizecalculation is failing as you say...
Do you think re-installing the entire component will help ?
And will be SAFE ? (for your info, I did it once on another test site of mine with no damage at all)
Thanks again

Philippe

Strange, please PM backend super administrator login credentials and will take a look. Yes, installing CB overtop of it self is fine as you won't lose anything (don't uninstall though or you will lose some stuff).
