CB Field Management Takes a long time to load. I have loaded 2.3 million users on CB and it takes a long time to load. Anyway I can improve this?

Sorry for delay - actually we did discuss this internally but neglected to give feedback.

Well 2.3 million is huge.

We have 500K on this site and things are ok performance wise - but we are on a dedicated server.

Question - how does the Joomla user manager respond with so many users?

Exactly. I am on a dedicated server as well. At first it was the .htaccess, site has improved. Front-end improved tremendously. I have also used the cb synch tools as well. It helped too.

At first the cb_login module was crawling like a snail too. Somehow that has also improved.

Now the user manager loads a little too slow. Though of editing the default list of "20" to something less. Perhaps to load the first 10? Do you think that would help?

Changing display count won't help too much, it still queries the database for the total number of rows to calculation pagination. Is Joomla user manager just as slow, same, or much faster? I've never heard of any CB or Joomla install having this many users so I can't say how it's going to behave. You very likely are going to have to make custom database indexes on many of your tables to improve query performance as that's probably where the slow down is occurring.

Yes Joomla user manager loads the same. What you say may be true that it needs to calculate the pagination.

Thanks anyway. Even the userlist needs to be properly filtered or else it just takes longer than usual to load. On that part, I can handle.
