We are using CB to provide a publicly available 'read only' directory of members, which has a more restricted profile view than those of registered users, who get the full CB functionality.
We also have two colour variations of our Joomla template. Public users have a blue template style and Regsitered users an Orange template style. However we are having problems creating two separate menu profile links one each to associate with the different template styles. Our public users pick up the orange style, even when not logged in.
Essentially we want to chnage Joomla template style depending on the ACL group automatically. Could you advise the best way to do this please?
Create 2 Joomla menu links to CBs profiles. The first one should be Registered, the one you create after it should be Public. Assign your public template to the public menu link and your registered user template to the registered menu link. This should do the trick as CB checks ACL when pulling Itemid; it's important for Registered to be created first as it pulls them in order and it could grab the Public one if it's first.
