Help with field plugin

Hi,

I'm trying to create a drop down field plugin, similar to the CB core Drop Down Single.

How do I get this to show:


If I add: case 'verify_select': above the case 'select': in:
administrator/components/com_comprofiler/view/view.field.php
it works.

I don't want to hack the CB Core.

So how can I get this to work.

See our various fieldtype plugins (rating, query, file, video, ajax text) on how to create your own fieldtype plugin. You can extend an existing fieldtype like the select fieldtype class to assume many of its features as is done in the ajax text for example.
