Hi,

I want to simplify the Joomla Controlpanel for my administrators. As I don't use GroupJive I want to remove it from the administrators top menu, where it is added to last time I installed CB.

It would also be nice to get Community Builder back from the main level to a sub menu in Components.

Beside that I want to remove the sub-menu's "Plugin management" and "Tools" for the administrators group as only my Super User's may do that kind of actions. I do that for a lot of extensions but I am missing the "Options" button on the right top, to access the ACL.

Is there a way to hide this stuff for the users in the Administrator's group?

Kind regards,
Nico

After a while I found some solutions myself.

The extra menu "Community Builder - GroupJive" is an admin module that you can unpublish.

I restored the Community Builder sub-menu item under Components by re installing the main Community Builder extension. Still don't know why it was removed but I am happy that it is back.

Now I am only still searching how I can put an ACL on the sub items "Plugin management" and "Tools".

Don't believe you can specifically. The permissions you can control at this time are those seen in CB > Configuration > Options > Permissions and CB > User Management > Options > Permissions.
