Hi,

I have installed Community Builder 1.9 on a Joomla! 2.5.8 running through PHP 5.2.17.

When a user try to register I have a javascript window whic opens saying "DB function reports no error" (its french version to be accurate).

I can see the user in the Joomla! users management, registered but not activated, but I can not see this same user in the Community Builder user management.

Does anyone has an idea ?

Thank you

Regards

Ensure CB Core is public and published within CB > Plugin Management. Also ensure the "params" field in CB > Field Management is on a tab that is enabled. Once done enable debug mode and maximum error reporting in Joomla global configuration to expose any errors. Now attempt to register and see if issue persists.

It's possible you've a 3rd party System or User plugin messing with the registration process as Joomla is storing, but CB is failing so something could be acting on the Joomla user store trigger. If issue persists after doing the above then disable 3rd party Joomla system and user plugins 1 by 1 until resolves.

This is because you had set "New User Registration Group" to "Public", which is not valid. You can't register users as "Public". I've set this back to "Registered" and confirmed it works fine now; please also confirm.
