plan allocation was created by tgribble
hello

i have a website for members of a sports club

we have members buying membership with cb subs. it is all going well thankyou.

the issue:

there are certain members who we have granted "life membership" - ie they no longer have to pay annual fees.

from an administrator perspective, how is it best accomplished ON THE FRONT END to achieve this.

ie i would like a "committee" member to be able to grant "life membership" to the "member" from their login. i am having trouble getting the right combination of:

parent / child
exclusive / non exclusive
hide children / not hide children

visible on the site / backend only
visible access level
visible for group

can you please give me some idea. i feel i have read the manual, but cant make sense of it.

thanks

Create your free lifetime plan and set "Visible for Access Level:" to "Special" so only special users can access it. Now view a users profile on frontend and on their Subscription tab subscribe them to the free lifetime plan. This is best done from backend, but that's how it's done on frontend.

They need to be a CB moderator or configure permissions within CBSubs > Settings > Permissions to give a usergroup permissions for the above to work.

They won't be able to see the plan, you need to login as a CB moderator then view their profile and subscribe them from the subscription tab. If you need them to still have access to the plan then set it as Public and subscribe them in the same way. Alternatively just do so from backend (best approach).
