Email trigger send only when value is set the first time

I communicate with my members by sending an email with autoactions.
At the moment I set a field value to "1" and save.

The member will be informed that his profile is updated.

Problem is. any time the member changes a field value or better saves his profile the email is sent. My trigger is onAfterUserUpdate.

Is there a way to ensure that the email is only sent one time when the field vlaue is updated to "1"?

Check that your field value is not equal to 1 using a conditional on your auto action. Example as follows.

[cb_isupdated] Not Equal To 1

But that would send the email in the all cases where field value is not 1.
That doesnt rly solve my problem.

I need a way to inform my members that I updated there profile to a certain value but only one time.

any idea?

Check that the field is equal to 1 then.

[cb_isupdated] Equal To 1

Then have a second auto action directly after it that sets the field back to 0.
