I am trying to get the content bot to work but could find no documentation. The only clue that I have is

I tried the [ (square brackets) in documentation but that does not seem to work. I tried curly brackets also with no success.
Your username is {cb:userfield field="username"} was my trial but does not work, I get username as text

You surround a normal substitution with {cb:}. Examples as follows.

{cb:[username]}
{cb:[cb:if username="demo"]This is Demo being displayed.[/cb:if]}
