Request with Auto-Action and/or CBsubs URL plugin

I setup an Action for add data in a third party software located to a remote server and all work well. When the action is well taken in consideration, the software give a positive response. In complement is possible when using Auto-Action, to display/return on the page the response message but not with Cbsubs URL plugin.

Now I wondering what happen in case the remoter server in unavailable (downtime, maintenance). I suppose nothing and CB/CBsubs will not attempt later to make the request until get positive response.

It is possible to be warned if this happen by getting an email with Auto-Action ? Or is possible to cancel the Auto-Action if no positive response is received ? My worry is to have data present in CB but not on the remote server. I need to sync those data or to have nothing in both place.

There's no where for it to output a response to as they're all done during various automatic processes of CBSubs so such a feature wouldn't really work.

If it fails, it fails, it does not retry.

No to both unless you use a PHP action and do an http request directly in that then send an email if the response failed.
