[#3841] No category groups list available on new group create

When I click the "New Group" button in my group tab I see the form for create the new group, but I cannot choose any category from the drop-down field.

I can create groups if I directly go into categories but not from my profile tab.

What's wrong?

Please upgrade to 2.6.1 as this should already be fixed.

Seams to be working fine here. The bug was in the template so ensure you're using the new default template included with 2.6.

Don't know why... template in use is default.

As admin I see category list. As registered user no... Something not configured right?

Check that you have categories available to registered users. If there is no categories for them to access then they won't be able to select any from the dropdown.
