Joomla 2.5/CB 1.9 remember me

I figure this is probably a joomla issue, but I noticed the 'remember me' function seems to work perfectly here on joomlapolis.com. Any idea what steps I can take to diagnose it on my site?

It'll be user by user based. If the user clears their cookies then it'll clear the remember me as it's just a cookie being set on the users browser. Some browsers by default clear these on close, etc.. you'll need to check your browser settings to see how it's set to behave. It could also be a security setting in your browser blocking cookies for your site or even anti-virus blocking it (not a virus, but some block some cookies for security purposes).

So how should it work? I had to login to my site this morning but not joomlapolis.com. Same browser....

FYI I have remember me hidden/checked in the cb modules on my website. The only one where the checkbox is shown is the top of the forum. I thought there used to be a way to make that box use a cb login not joomla login form, where did that option go in k2.0?

Kunenas login will point to CBs, but I think you can disable it in Kunena entirely (can't recall where). Does remember me work from CB login module and just not from the Kunena login? Joomla handles the remember me usage, CB just passes that remember was checked to Joomlas login function.

Ensure within Extensions > Plug-in Manager that "System - Remember Me" is enabled. Also note Joomlapolis is not on J2.5 so please do not expect them to behave the same as it's a different version compared to yours and remember me is entirely handled by Joomla.
