[SOLVED] Community Builder Cookie / Session Expired Problem with JoomlArt.com template

11 years 9 months ago #218176 by tlwebdesign
Hi Guys,

I had this problem for days now! I get the all to well known error:

"Session expired or cookies are not enabled in your browser. Please press "reload page" in your browser, and enable cookies in your browser. Please refresh/reload page before filling-in. "

I've been developing the site for months. No errors at all! Once i went live, i got these errors when:
  • Applying for a new password / username
  • Sometimes during registration

After extensive testing. I found out i could apply for a password just once after cleaning cache. After that i got this error.

Now i'm using the JA JoomlArt.com templates. With JA T3v2 Framework.

They have this thing called "Template Caching". This is not just caching for the template. As the name implies. It is for the whole system. Once i disabled this setting everything worked!. But then there's no caching anymore!

Solution: Cache exclude com_comprofiler.

Use this code:
Code:
component=com_comprofiler

Now no session expired errors anymore!

Hope this saves some people from day long headaches!
