Hello,

I'm trying to determine where an email send to administrators is coming from as some of the information being sent is inaccurate (i.e the subject line & WEBSITE NAME). I'm trying to find out where its being auto generated from (joomla or CB). For example:

A new user has registered at www.website.com .
This email contains their details

Name - John Doe
E-mail - JohnDoe@gmail.com
Username - JDoe

Please do not respond to this message as it is automatically generated and is for information purposes only

NOTE: This email was automatically generated from WEBSITE NAME ( www.website.com ).

I want to know where the Subject line and WEBSITE NAME is being pulled from to populate the email sent to administrators

Website name comes from the name you supplied within your Joomla global configuration. The URL comes from $live_site (should be blank) Joomla configuration.php. The email is sent from CB as a new user registration moderator email and is configured by editing its language strings within your CB language files found below.

Hi Kyle,

Something strange is happening as figure the website name would be coming from the global configuration as you mentioned (Global Configuration/Site/Site name). However the email I received was not pulling from this area.

The url is correct though.

Is it possible the information is sitting in cache memory somehow? The reason I say this is because the site in question was a mirror version of another site I'd built. The name that appeared in the email was the first site that was used as the template of the second site

Yes, it's possible it's cached. Try clearing all Joomla cache and see if that resolves it.
