editing profile on iPad and Registration date error

I went to edit my profile on an iPad and I got an error along the lines of "registration date invalid"...

the error says:
register date : year 2012 is not between 2013 and 2014

My user was registered in 2011. When I went to my User Status tab - my only date options for registration date were 2013 and 2014.

I knew to go to that tab to edit the registration date.

Regular "general populous" people won't know to go there.

I only got this error when doing it on an ipad. Have never gotten this error before. This could be happening on desktop as well since 2013 just rolled around.

How/where do I fix this ?

I'm on J1.5.26 and CB 1.8


my User Status field with title _UE_MEMBERSINCE and name registerDate
has these parameters:
minimum yr shown: -110
max yr shown: +25
display on profile as: time ago
display T ago text: display 'T ago'
if searchable, search by: full date
display date and time: yes date and time also

I just got it again on my laptop when unsubscribing a member that signed up for a wrong subscription

Joomla version? CB version? Based off your minimum and maximum year settings this certainly shouldn't be happening. I'm thinking it's likely some sort of JS error. Please review browser error log when attempting to update someone and see if any fatal errors occur.

...
as for reviewing browser error logs - I hate to sound like a dummy - but how do I do that? Is that on my hosting CPanel account ?

Browser error log is typically opened by pressing F12, but I've no idea how it's opened on a tablet, but am guessing should be under settings or something of the sort. I do suggest upgrading to CB 1.9 though.
