User activation issue was created by amaster130
Joomla user activation has been superseded/overridden by Community Builder. How can i change CB settings to turn this off ?

The activation link is generated from the Joomla core

If the user registers through CB there should be no Joomla user activation. Ensure you've disabled Joomla registration through Users > User Management > Options and set CB registration to be independent from Joomlas within CB > Configuration > Registration.

You can't get around this. You must use CB Registration and CB Login to properly use CB. This is a requirement with no exceptions.
