The good news is that many new users are registering on our site. The bad news is that the "New User Registration" email is too much for me. Here is what I have tried:

1. I looked around in CB-Configuration-Registration to see if I could turn it off. I don't see anything.

2. Per this article I thought I had the problem solved:

www.inmotionhosting.com/support/edu/joomla-25/users/prevent-new-user-email-notification

But it so happens my "Notification to Admin" email setting was already set to "NO" (screenshot).

That leaves me with no other ideas. Any help would be great. Thanks and Happy New Year.

That's Joomla user configuration. Are you receiving the Joomla new user registration email or the CB new user registration email? To disable CBs you need to clear the subject and body language strings within CB language files found at the below location.

sorry for the late reply.

I am receiving a CB generated (New User Registration) email.

Which lines do I comment out to supress these? Many thanks.

You don't need to clear them, simply edit your user within CB > User Management and set them to not receive moderator emails and that should stop it. If possible please provide the email subject and body with private information omitted so can better understand exactly what is sending.

Ah, I see. That's perfectly normal. You can disable moderator emails to your self by editing your user within CB > User Management and setting your self not to receive moderator emails. You can also disable CB moderator emails for all moderators within CB > Configuration > Moderation and set "Send Moderators Email" to "No".
