Can you explain CB Subs licenses to me?
I bought and installed on for a client about a month ago. Does that mean we still need to buy the upgrade to 3.0?

Thanks!
Alan

Please take a look at frontpage article here:
www.joomlapolis.com/news/18335-cbsubs-30-goes-gpl-

It explains the new license and the migration path.

You should have also received a personal email about this (check your spam folder?).

In your specific case, you have 3 CBSubs proprietary licenses purchased:

1 5000 user license purchased on 2011-11-16 and it has expired maintenance
1 5000 user license purchased on 2012-07-11 (still valid maintenance)
1 500 user license purchased on 2012-11-27 (still valid maintenance)

You can continue using these if you want, but you can also migrate to the CBSubs GPL membership and get CBSubs GPL 3.0, which you can install over all 3 of your proprietary license installation (no settings lost) and no longer have any restrictions (user count, sites number, etc).

And you can of course install CBSubs GPL 3.0 on any additional sites you have without extra cost.

You are currently being offered (valid until January 31st 2013) a 75% discount to migrate to CBSubs GPL membership.

Think its a great proposal for you.

Hope this clarifies everything - if not let me know.

Current notice in red on my site under CB subscriptions
Your version 2.0.2 is not the latest version 3.0 : CBSubs GPL 3.0 with unlimited users and sites, new features and bugfixes, and new GPL open-source license is a highly recommended, easy to install upgrade. Please read the CBSubs GPL 3.0 news at joomlapolis.com/news/18335-cbsubs-30-goes-gpl- for details.

I cannot see where I can get the 3.0 for this upgrade. I have this on several sites, some expire Nov 2013 and some not till 2015. What's the deal?

You have already purchased CBSubs GPL.

You should be able to download CBSubs GPL 3.0 and the documentation from the CBSUBS GPL download area here:

www.joomlapolis.com/downloads/downloads-single-items/cat_view/118-cbsubs-gpl-download-area

Please download and study the updated manual as there is a chapter about upgrading.

You simply install CBSubs 3.0 over your existing installations to upgrade them.
