DO you have the privacy plugin installed?

Also is the tab Additional information published for public viewing?

Also exactly how are you testing?

For example maybe put s specific country value in a user profile and then try searching for this in the joomla searchbox.

WHat works for you my friend need not work the same for others, i dont expect support to be RUDE after paying for the software. All I said was it does not work. I will try the CB users list and post, Thanks.

My intention was not to be rude, but to simply state all testing shows it working fine. Other users and staff have also confirmed it working fine. This implies an issue on your site or a configuration problem.

This was more professional NICK, I really appreciate it and I understand from my side what I could have better like you explained. I am sure if people read, you can see the difference in both the answers, as to how you handled the situation. IF he did not mean to be rude I apologize. BUT I APPRECIATE the help again. I will post after I try it.

Again, I apologize if you feel I was rude; this is simply how I communicate. Please understand a vague post will receive a vague response; "not working" isn't something we can debug off of as that could mean hundreds of different things. Please always ensure your first post in a new support topic is filled with information on the exact issue (including Joomla version, CB version, etc..).

3 of your 4 fields are not set to display on profile so they can't be searched as they can't be displayed. Country is the only field set to display on profile so it should be searchable, please try searching for a Country.

If issue persists after reviewing the above please PM backend login credentials and can take a look.

Thank you for your reply. I am sorry for messaging hastily too. But i fixed the field removed on field which did not have a cb prefix. created a new one and added everythign as yu and nick mentioned. does not work. I am not sure wht i am missing. i have sent you the login details. if you could look at it please. i have also not instaalled privacy plugin. but i intend to do so. privacy plugin prevents peoples prfile being exposed, am i correct. i am planning on installing it too. thanks for both of your help. i greatly appreciate it.

Have reviewed your install. Your "Additional Information" tab was set to "Registered". This means the fields on that tab can only be seen by someone logged in. This also means they could only be searched by someone logged in. I've set the tab to "Public" and confirmed it works. To also confirm it works simply search any of the below terms and you'll see the admin profile as a result.

United
States
United States

This is because I've set the Country field for the admin user to "United States".

Hey Kyle 1 more question, i installed privacy plugin, is that able to give users options to hide their entire profile. Or just certain fields.
