Multiprofiles better to use CB conditional?

Until now I use CB Subs only for multi profils.

However looking closer at CB conditional and auto actions it might be better to use this combination instead?

From what I understand I can just do the same.
- Create a radio field with different "profile types"
- Make the fields dependend on that field
- Autoaction the user into a specific ACL group
