CB Quickstart Pro creates gap on my webpage (not displaying well)

I am a newbie to Joomla.
I just installed the CB Quickstart pro. i am still testing it on my local machine (macbookpro).
when ever i publish the CB Menu, CB Gallery or CB GroupJive on the left hand module of my template the contents in the main becomes distorted. there is a large gap between the title and the rest of the content within the main content section. The same happens on the profile page. For example, when the kunena forum displays, various header tabs (Index, Recent Topics, New Topic etc) are separated from the bottom content displaying the threads and messages. all one sees at first is the header tabs (Index, Recent Topics, New Topic etc) and when you scroll to the bottom of the screen you find the other part of the forum.
what could be the problem? this was not happening before until i installed the CB quickstart pro.
i will be grateful if someone could respond to it.

One way i tried to get around it was to change the module positions of the different elements. After doing that everything fell into place. instead of having the CB Menu to the left hand pane i just place it at the bottom.
If someone else has a better work around please do not hesitate to notify me
thanks

No idea, sounds like CSS issue and can't help with such issue without a URL to where the problem can be seen and investigated. This is normally a problem with the template, but can sometimes be an unclosed html tag in the module. You'd need to disable the modules 1 by 1 until it goes away to see which module is causing it. If it doesn't go away from any 1 particular module being disabled then it's probably the template.
