How to change the presentation of the available plans in case of a renewal

11 years 8 months ago #220641 by erichburkhard
Hi all. I have the following question (I have latest Joomla / CB / CBSubs versions):

Scenario (how it works now on my site):

Step 1: The registered user can choose a certain plan for subscription (3 possiblity) the presentation of these 3 plans is as follows:

Step 2: the user chooses (and buys) the '1 month' plan. After the successfull purchase he is not allowed to upgrade to any other plan. If he goes to his subscription overview, he will see the following:

Step 3: When plan '1 month' has expired the user will see the following presentation in the overview. He is now able to 'Reactivate' '1 month' or buy - for the first time - '2 month' or '3 month'. The presentation looks as follows:

Question: What I do not like is that the presentation (at step 3) depends on the fact wether the user already bought a certain plan or not. If he already bought a certain plan, this plan will be presented with the reactivate button for this plan. Is it possible to always display the available plans ('month 1', 'month 2', 'month 3') in a manner as in Step 1? .... Because the layout in Step 1 is easier to understand for the user...

THANKS for your help

Eric

Nope, they've a subscription to the plan but it's just expired. In step 1 they have no subscription at all. Reverting to step 1 would break renewal for example if they choose to renew as step 1 is new subscription, not renewal or upgrade.
