CB Conditional - getting fields to appear in step-by-step registration tabs

Hi,

I have installed the CB Conditional plugin, enabled it and enabled step-by-step registration. I have also set "Use divs (table-less output)" in the CB->Configuration->User Pofile tab, as suggested in msg#158754

I have a large number of fields that must be completed during registration, which I would like to split up into logical order under separate tabs.

How do I get my CB-Subs plans to appear in a tab?

How do I get specific fields to appear in a specific tabs?
  • Tab1: Display subscription plans (select 1 of 4 plans available)
  • Tab2: username - first name - last name - password...
  • Tab3: email - address1 - address2 - address3 - phone...
  • Tab4: insurance co. - insurance policy no. - policy expiry date...
  • Tab5: etc...

  • I've tried getting a field to appear in a particular tab by opening the desired tab in the field configuration screen, selecting:

CB Conditional: Field condition preferences Tab 2:
    Display: field-conditional-self
    If Field: username
    Is Operator: empty
    Then Mode: required

Saving the field and reloading the registration page in the front-end shows no change in the layout, and no tabs.

How do I get an empty field to show up in a particular tab?
Last question: CB Conditional provides for up to 5 step-by-step registration tabs. How can I increase that number to 6 or 7 tabs?

Thanks,

Phil.

Update:

I'm really not sure what I did differently (possibly clearing the cache) but my tabs are now appearing correctly at last, with subscription plans in Tab1 and other fields in other tabs. Happy days!

My last question remains: CB Conditional provides for up to 5 step-by-step registration tabs. How can I increase that number to 6 or 7 tabs?

Step by Step is unlimited. It just turns your tabs that have registration fields on them into steps. So simply add more tabs within CB > Tab Management and add fields to them that display on registration and you'll have more steps.

If you're meaning more than 5 conditionals per tab or field then no you can not increase this, it's hardcoded at 5.
