For our community website I try to establish a facebook like activity stream using GroupJive and CBActivity. However, I am not happy with the result and would like to find out if I can improve:
1.) In the activity stream all events (new wall posts, photos, etc...) are shown nicely but they are not related to each other. So, comments to wall posts are just shown as independant posts rather than related to the original one.
2.) In the activity stream users have no possibility to add new content. I would require buttons/links to create new wall posts/upload pics/comment on posts etc...
Is there a way to achieve that with GroupJive and/or CBActivity? Unfortunately, GroupJive is not providing a tab where all activities of a group are merged - maybe that would be even better than using CBActivity at all!
any easy way to achieve my goal (I guess, I am not the only one with those requirements). People are used to Facebook, I am looking for a similar user experience.

That's working as intended. Each wall entry is a new activity entry. You can disable logging of wall replies though within CB Activity > Config > Activity > GroupJive.

It's an activity stream. It has no posting capabilities. Such capabilities are planned after CB 2.0 though.
