How redundant are the other 26 packages?

None of them are redundant. It depends entirely on what you need. The Quickstart packages provide a quick and easy ready to go complete installation. More of the advanced plugins are excluded as they're more complex to setup. You can download a customized package from our package builder below and only selecting exactly what you want (customized packages do not auto-configure).
