GroupJive Multiple Invitations

Hello!

I am trying to figure out how or why I cannot invite 2 or more persons to my group at a time. The list ends up as 1 user displayed with multiple e-mail addresses.

The trouble is, my group leaders will need to invite possibly 100 or more people to their groups, ideally by pasting in their company's members addresses. Doing this one at a time is a business killer and the site will never get used. What do you recommend? Do you already have some options somewhere build in that I have not seen yet?

Doesn't work, because it's not implemented. No where does it say it is. You have to invite 1 by 1. CB Invites can invite multiple email addresses to join the site, but it has no relation to GJ.

I understand that it doesn't suggest that it does as far as your marketing is concerned. I just think it is a bad idea to have a 'group' invite when you can't invite a group of people to join it. Doesn't make much sense... I wasn't kidding about needing to invite 100's of users at a time. This process needs to be easy for the group leaders to use.

I just spent the past 2 months trying to build my site around CB's features and basically customized an entire VM2 integration along with some other cool mods. To find out that you can only invite 1 person at a time after putting in all of this effort is just bad news.

It's not implemented. I don't have a solution for you. It's not implemented because the way the inviting works. It can invite by Name, Username, User ID, or Email address. When inviting by Name or Username it's possible to do partial matches and when that happens it shows a user selector screen. This wouldn't work well if say 3 users are invited by email, 1 by name, 2 by username, and 5 by ID. It's something I'd like to implement and created the below feature ticket, but it won't be anytime soon am afraid.
