how do I access support tickets? was created by pamlong
I have a PRO membership.
I am trying to submit a support ticket but seem to need a different username/password that what I use to access this site.

HOw do I get this info going? I have a real problem and need to submit a support ticket.

You login to the ticket system with Email Address and Password of your Joomlapolis account.

perhaps I should have been more specific. I am able to submit support tickets, however I can't log in to the Portal and view them. I have to wait for an email to come in with a link and then I can see the ticket.

The user/pass that I use to login to the Member area doesn't seem to work when I try to access the Portal area.

That's correct. However, you receive a first email after you submit the ticket. And you can reply already to that email if you have more information or an update before our first reply.

As usual check your spam folder, including on your webmail.

We are using the ticketing system from our hosting portal for the tickets, and thus the www.joomlapolis.com login is not valid there. We will look to remove the login link when used that way. In the future we will be replacing that system by a more friendly one, which is integrated with the forum.

In all cases, favor forum use to tickets. We do first answer to forum request, and tickets should only be used for private and confidential information.

As you prefer depending on the status and confidentiality needed.

If you move it back to forum you should put ticket # and also reply with URL to ticket and ask to close it, so that they are "linked".
