Split Registration into several Steps

Hi folks
i´m wondering how to split a very long registration tab into several tabs or pages. Is this possible? (I read only one thread that adresses this but it was not a solution). I´m using the bootstrap template (not sure if this is important to know)

My Usecase is:
I have 4 Groups of informations to fill in by a new user. They should appear step by step.
Some Informations are conditional so if the user e.G. enters the value 3 in a field 3 new tabs should be shown to enter some more information into fields shown on these tabs.

Can anyone please direct me on the right path to accomplish this?

You can use CB Conditional then within its Configuration enabled Step by Step registration, which will turn tabs into steps. You can also show/hide tabs/fields based off other field values using CB Conditional; you can find a tutorial regarding this below.
