Hi,
after the latest update do GJ 2.7 (11/02/2013) on J 2.5.9 I do encounter intermittent email notification issues.
All other applications do send notifications fine (e.g. private message notifications, joomla registration notifications etc.)
I did check:
• Settings in the group are enabled to send mail when someone creates a new wall post or replies.
• Configuration shows a correct sender Mail Address.
No idea, why the notifications have stopped working in some groups.
Any idea?

You won't receive notifications about your own actions. If the action (like a wall post) is not published (due to approval) it will not send notifications until it becomes published. Please be more specific about exactly what notifications are no longer sending. Do they just not send for specific groups or does it affect all groups (test that specific notification in multiple groups).

you can close this thread.
There have been a mix from different kind of user problems plus a server issue.
Server reboot sorted out most of the issues.
User issues were simply Junk Mail related and "author not getting notification himself".
And also other users then hopping on the train seeing issues were there weren't.
