Yes, on the Presentation tab of your plans or using CBSubs Emails you can supply an attachment with the email. We're using this exact usage to handle our individual download purchases. See the mouseover icon description of the attachment parameter for proper structuring of the path to your pdf.

Correct, you'd need to develop something to generate a PDF invoice as CBSubs does no such thing. You could also include most of the invoice information in the email it self.

I don't know. We try to avoid data storage as it consumes server space rapidly. It's possible something like this could be implemented as an integration, but I can't guarantee anything. With GPL all the API is available to you so you're welcome to try implementing for your self (see the CBSubs Plans Image integration on how to easily grab a users active subscriptions, etc.)
