Hi,

The following text appears when I upload a profile image:

By clicking "Register", you certify that you have the right to distribute this photo and that it does not violate the Terms and Conditions.

I've searched the language files but can't find where this text is hiding. This text also appears when changing a profile image: "By clicking "Update", you certify..."

Where do I change or remove this text?
Thanks,

Philip.

They're define language strings. Their defines are as follows.

_UE_AVATAR_DISCLAIMER
_UE_AVATAR_DISCLAIMER_TERMS
_UE_AVATAR_UPLOAD_DISCLAIMER
_UE_AVATAR_UPLOAD_DISCLAIMER_TERMS

You can set them to '' to remove them or edit them as needed within your CB language files. Ensure you've installed the English language plugin and make your changes there instead of changing the default language files.

I have followed the instructions on building a language file here instead of messing with the default plugin (Still working with English)

Wondering a couple of things:

If a new language file is installed is the does the "Default language (English)" plugin get ignored or do I delete/unistall it?

If CB recognizes the alternate En-GB plugin, do I need to do anything else to have it be used? Reason I am asking is I made some language changes (language.php) to the strings noted but they do no appear on the site. I though it was a browser cache problem, but it does not appear to be the case.

I must be missing a step.

Also, you mentioned removing the strings. How do you safety do that in the php file (comment out?)

Just install the English language plugin for CB 1.9 found below. Make your changes to it and your changes will be kept with each update of CB.

forge.joomlapolis.com/projects/lan-cb-en/files

As long as your site is in English it'll load the English language plugin instead of the default language plugin.
