Split Registration form to tabs

I'm trying to configure the second step, however I can't move any field to the second step. I imagine that I need just to select the tab "2" in field edit page to do it, is it right? When I do it and apply, the tab "1" is showed selected and all my fields still in step 1.

How can I move fields to Step 2 or Step 3?

Step by Step simply renders the registration tabs into steps. If you need more steps create more tabs then add more fields to those new tabs and ensure the fields are set to display on registration. If you want to move a field to a different step then simply move the field to the tab that is rendering as the step. Example as follows.

Contact Info > Step 1
Address Info > Step 2
Social Info > Step 3

If I want fields on Step 3 in the above example then I'd move them to "Social Info" tab.

How can I rename Step 1 = Contact Info and Step = Banking Info

There's 2 methods for translating steps, which you use is entirely up to you.

CBTxt usage (cbteamplugins):
'Step 1' => 'Contact Info'

Define usage:
DEFINE( '_REG_STEP1', 'Contact Info' );

You can translate all your steps using either of the above methods by incrementing as needed (e.g. Step 2, Step 3, etc..). Please see the below for language string usage.

Hello I need to change STEP 1, STEP 2, etc. with other word but I don't understand how to apply yuor solution... where I must write
'Step 1' => 'Contact Info'
or
DEFINE( '_REG_STEP1', 'Contact Info' ); ????
