I am in need of a geolocation addon that allows me to do the following;
Allows members of a certain subscription level to add one or more locations to their profile (depending on subscription level determines if only one, or more, locations are possible) - think of these as local businesses, some will have more than one address.
Allows (requires, actually) the use of intersections (i.e. first street and main avenue)rather than exact addresses or generic zip codes for these locations.
Allows all members and guests to search for these businesses based on either their own location (based on IP address or phone/tablet GPS), or a location of their choice (entering an address, an intersection, a zip code, or a city/state to search in or near).
I had verified years ago, when my current project was just an idea and not in production, that zipcodeshop could do all of this. But now that website (and their plugin) seems to have vanished; and I have signed up on at least half a dozen other forums trying to find out if any 3rd party plugins will do this, and have had few responses (and none 100% positive).
I am posting this here in hopes that someone here might know of one or more plugins I can use to do this... or if not, perhaps give me a quote on developing custom code for me.
