autocomplete CB plugin - does it exist? was created by azjr
I'm looking for a CB solution to a custom work-around for atuocomplete ajax field - Please see this URL: autocomplete example - when you start typing letters in dealership field, you will see the data will be automatically populated and narrowed based on your input.

We have programmed this outside of joomla and CB, but I would like to know if I can accomplish that within the CB.

We have no such fieldtype. You'd need to develop a new CB fieldtype plugin to provide this or try using CB Auto Actions to add the jQuery and AJAX to the registration and profile update pages to attach an autocomplete usage to a field.
