This is a great idea and plugin! Thanks! :)

However, I dont get the confirmation link in the e-mail to work. Maybe because my site is an intranet with no public content.

If the user is not logged in on the site when clicking on the e-mail link, the confirmation link does not work. He gets stuck at the login page, saying You need to log in first.

Using J! 2-5-9, CB 1.9, Reconfirm Email 3.0.0
The plug itself is set to Public.

Have I misconfigured something as I dont get confirmation to work?

You need to have a public and published Joomla menu link to CB. Check the Itemid in the URL (disable SEF before testing) and compare it to the Joomla menu link it belongs to then set that menu link as public and published.

Do I understand you right, that in this case I cannot use this plugin, as the site is a closed site open only for members? Only public content on the site is the login page.

You just need a public and published profile menu link for Itemid purposes. This link could be on a Joomla menu you never display; it just needs to exist in database. Otherwise yes users will need to be logged in to use the reconfirm link.
