hello

If user do not upload or choose image gallery for his avatar, I would like totally hide the reserved avatar area in profile view.

For do that I tried to use CB Conditional (in avatar field and also avatar tab) for hide IF empty..but this don't work I don't understand why. I looked in database and if no avatar is set, the field is well empty...

If I upload/choose an image, the field contain image url such gallery/my_image.jpg. So I tried to setup a reverse condition IF does contain "/" then Show..but this too don't work..

any workaround ??

Avatar is never truly empty. You can do this using CB Conditional with REGEX operator. Please see the below topic with the usage described.
