[SOLVED] Change field type was created by sirweb
I need to hange fielt type from multiselect to select for one of my fields.
No user has more than one value in this specific field so no data will be lost.

Can I safely change fieldtype directly in the database, for table #_comprofiler_fields?

For 'cb_field' change from 'type=multiselect' to 'type=select'

Are there any other values that need to be changed too?
Are there any dependencies like other tables that are affected?

Thanks
SUne

From a multiselect to a regular select, yes it's fine. No, you shouldn't have to change anything else. After making the change run CB tools for fields to catch any issues.

Thanks.

It works.
Followed your steps.
Had to finish with a DB Repair in phpMyAdmin at the end.
