Moving CB Tables to a new installation

Moving CB Tables to a new installation was created by herzenssache
Dear Joomlapolis Team,

we are going to install a brand new Joomla 2.5.11 site shortly using of course CB, GJ, CBSubs again.

In this particular case we do have to move CB Users + Profiles, Wall, etc. and GJ Groups/Content(not CBSubs info) from an old Joomla 2.5.11 site (old domain) over to the new site (new domain name as well).

Backing up the old site completely and restoring to the new site and then changing/removing stuff is not an option due to some errors in the old installation resulting from the 1.5 to 2.5 migration.
We are only interested in the Community Builder products/users/info that needs to be moved.

My question: what is the easiest way to achieve this?
Is a MySQL dump and restore of all CB tables sufficient plus the Joomla Users table?

Thank you,
Matt

We have done this recently aswel.

We used this component to transfer the user database from the old database to the new one:
cyend.com/extensions/extensions/components/5-upgrade-joomla-from-15-to-16

Just be careful not to overwrite IDs you are already using in your new site (admin accounts and such)

After it was transfered we used the CB Synchronize option to synchronize the Joomla user table to the CB user table.

As long as user_ids are kept the same you can directly export/import the tables. Seeing as it's not a migration it should be pretty simple to move them over. Migration extension as gvaneijk suggested is probably best though, but don't know if it can migrate from J2.5.11 to J2.5.11.
