I have been playing with the awesome new tags in Joomla v3.1 and this is exactly what we need to create a LinkedIn style "Skills" field for our members.
Would it be easy to integrate a tags field into CB? Here are the docs:
Can't use their field usage, but can use the API to create a new CB fieldtype plugin. Won't be needed with CB 2.0 as we'll have proper repeating fields. Nothing planned prior to CB 2.0 in this regard though.
